| Introduction | In Carmen's spare time, she enjoys listening to all kinds of music and singing them very loudly in her car, sending grammatically correct text messages to family and friends and watching all the shows and movies she’s DVR’d in one seating. Carmen is a University of Tennessee at Chattanooga graduate with a B.A. in English and American Literature and Language: Writing and a minor in Communication-Media Studies. Her original plans after graduation included teaching English at the high school or collegiate level, maybe even trying her talents at writing for a newspaper or magazine, but GOD changed her plans. He allowed Carmen to obtain her Tennessee Property and Casualty license in 2006. She is currently working as a Service Agent for Unitrin Direct Preferred Insurance (formerly Merastar Home and Auto Insurance). She is also working towards receiving her Associate in General Insurance by August 2011. Carmen will tell you that without a doubt, prayer and GOD’s grace have kept her resilient through some of the worst times; a constant work in progress, she is still standing and has found her smile again. |
