| Introduction | I'm a wine writer and winner of the Judges' Choice Award at the JancisRobinson.com Wine Writing Competition (2025) - the first Indian to receive this honour in international wine writing. What started as curiosity evolved through formal training: WSET Levels 1 and 2, Sonal Holland Wine Academy's Certified Wine Pro qualification, and specialised certifications from Barossa Australia and Capstone Wines, California. But my perspective on wine comes as much from my work in advertising as from certifications - I'm endlessly curious about what drives people's tastes, habits, and aspirations. Wine isn't just about what's in the glass, it's about where you drink it, what you're reading, and who you're becoming. I appreciate good cooking, not as someone who creates it, but as someone who savours it. The Second Pour explores that intersection: wine, books, and food - the trifecta that defines how I move through the world.
