Introduction	I'm a little bit German (over half my ancestors are German immigrants) and I live in a county that still has a lot of German customs and ties to the 'old country' sister cities.....but it's also the heart of former French colonial Illinois from the 17th and 18th centuries. My home area is rich in history, nuance, and fashion!
