About me

Introduction I like to think of myself as a survivor. I have survived many of lifes traumas. The purpose of this blog is to talk about life's adversities. Why they happen, how we deal with them and what can be learned from them. I also hope I can make this a positive experience for those who read it. The underlying message is one of hope (I hope). I must give credit where it is due. The title of this blog was taken from a talk Given in a general conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The Talk was given in October 2009 by Elder Richard G. Scott. I am 59 years old. I am member of the above mentioned church. I have lived through many of lifes experiences, good and bad. After many years of dropping out of college for various reasons I finally returned and completed a BS in Social Psychology (I refer to it as a BS in BS). I am Married to my wonderful soulmate Ilona. I have had the priviledge of having two Families. I will not go into detail about why My first marriage ended in divorce, but it turned out to be for the best. I have five children and two great stepchildren and love them all dearly.
