| Introduction | Continuance of the death penalty has been an issue. About one hundred-twenty countries have abolished the death penalty. But Korea, Japan, USA( United States of America), and Maxico have kept the death penalty. In our country, at least six people were sentenced to death in 2004 and at least sixty prisoners spent their time under sentence of death. However, the death penalty have not seem used executions since president Dae-jung Kim took office in 1998. The capital punishment does not execute actually, but condemned criminals are increasing. |
