My blogs
| Introduction | My desk is a mess. On any given day, there’s usually several formally tidy piles of ‘important’ documentation that have finally given up the fight to remain straight and orderly. They have quietly slid sideways into a more comfortable position, some are slumped against the phone whilst others are waving precariously in the breeze as co-workers walk by. Some bits of paper have magpie tendencies and sneak about the desk covering up small objects making them impossible to find. Like coffee cups. Surplus serviettes from yesterday’s Subway sandwich are piled up beside the computer monitor. Last year’s bank statements are carefully filed underneath the monitor stand, keeping company with some bus tickets and a spoon. My desk is a mess so Cluttermeleon is my attempt at tidying up - metaphorically if nothing else. Call it the junk drawer for my brain. A place to store all the things that I'm sure will be useful one day. Several years from now I'll look back on Cluttermeleon and think, "So that’s where that damn thing got to!" |
