Introduction	I'm an economics Ph.D. student in New York City. Originally from Russia, I moved to California when I was 10 years old and lived there until I moved to NYC in the summer of 2008. My research interests push me to think a lot about issues in poverty and wealth inequality in the US, especially when they relate to women and children. But I also love to dance, eat, run, and explore the city, so I hope to write about a wide range of topics.
