Introduction I was born in Houston, TX, in March 4, 1982. My dad was from Arkansas and my mom from the Dutch isle of Curacao. They instilled in me a strong moral code and a sense of duty to others. After my dad was killed by a drunk driver, when I was 12 years old, I made a decision to make him as proud in his honor. I became an Eagle Scout and graduated Valedictorian from my small high school. This led me to my Mech. Engineering degree at The Univ. of TX at Austin. I began my political career at the age of 12, handing buttons and flyers at the RNC in Houston, 1992. After many years of contributing to the grassroots, I got elected as the youngest delegate to the RNC from TX in 2004. In Nov of 2006, I unseated the incumbent Board Chair for his spot on the board of trustees for Lone Star College System. This junior college system has the largest service area of any system, serving over 1400 sq miles and 1.6 million citizens. Lone Star has a budget of 219 million dollars and over 60 thousand students in 6 colleges and 6 satellite campuses. This is a 6 year term and I was elected by 120,000 voters in a Nov. Election. In June 2008, I was once again elected to the Delegation for the RNC in Minn.
