| Introduction | Hi, I’m Chris Newton and I am writing my earthship construction blog to track our building efforts as we proceed. Hopefully, other people interested in building earthships will find our adventure useful. I am an engineer and have been designing and building log homes for the last ten years. So, I have a construction background, but no prior experience with earthships. I have always been interested in sustainable housing, and reading Mike Reynold's books was like a call to action. I am married to Sandra Burkholder begin_of_the_skype_highlighting end_of_the_skype_highlighting (the co-author of this blog), and we have three children.
