| Introduction | Hi. I'm David. I work with students at Georgetown University and Wesley Seminary. I love to accompany young people on their journeys of vocation, identity exploration, and meaning. I like guitar playing and beards. I try to follow Jesus but a lot of times I mess it up. I think that most of what's worth doing in this world seems foolish at the time. This guy named Paul who wrote a bunch of letters a long time ago gave me that idea: "God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low and despised in the world, things that are not, to reduce to nothing things that are, so that no one might boast in the presence of God." |
