Favorite music	Jazz especially anything by Kevin Mahogany, R&B, reggae, anything by Sweet Honey in the Rock, old school divas like Phoebe Snow, Roberta Flack, Chaka Kahn, Phyllis Hyman.
Favorite books	My favorite book is Song of Solomon by Toni Morrison. My favorite authors are Toni Morrison, Zora Neale Hurston, Octavia Butler, Walter Mosley, John Edgar Wideman.
