Introduction	I write a music review blog and called it Another Dying Artform. I selected the name because I feel that the past decade was arguably the most important era in modern music history, and that the collaborative creativity and dramatic storytelling device that is the “rock album” may disappear. I feel this not because of the convenience and connectivity in technology, but because of the antiquated methods and the overall lack of concern that major promotional entities have for the artist’s work that they market. I want to give these artists and their creations a true and honest voice. I want to assist in sharing the collaborative process that goes into creating an often dismissed piece of art -- the full length LP -- and inspire others to listen and love. This music we listen to is more than a leisurely pursuit. It is a lifestyle and a history lesson, a mind expander and a thought provoker, an internal debate and a communal experience. I want readers of my reviews to have the opportunity to come along on this complex journey.
