| Introduction | I started collecting old postcards several years ago and now have a fairly substantial collection covering all types. The black and white photography of the old postcards appeals to me and the stories they can tell of a forgotten way of life. My most exciting discovery was flipping through a box of old postcards in an antique shop and suddenly recognizing my grandmother’s writing on the back of a 1950’s postcard sent from Mt. Maunganui. Needless to say it now has pride of place in my collection. |
