| Favorite Movies | I haven't seen more than 10 movies released within the past 5 years. The Harry Potter series is the exception. I like genuine Irish films (Colm Meaney = <3) and I like to laugh. |
| Favorite Music | I like original music that does not suck. Sadly, one is hard-pressed to find that on the radio these days. Rick Springfield, U2, Sting / The Police have been my favorites for multiple decades. Mary Chapin Carpenter is an excellent singer / songwriter I have loved for a mere 15 years. New (or new to me) artists that have me hooked are MICHAEL BRUNNOCK, Jason Mraz, Alex Cuba, Fiction Plane. There is always room for good music. |
| Favorite Books | Almost all books are my favorites. I read literary classics, award-winning young adult and children's books, anything by Larry McMurtry, Stephen King, or Amy Tan. Neil Simon is the best playwright of our time. I don't generally read bestsellers because I don't have the time, but I will read just about anything if I am trapped in a space with free time. And anything having to do with Abraham Lincoln or Ireland will not be turned away. |
