| Introduction | I graduated with a degree in Journalism in 1970 from the University of Alabama and worked for 30 years managing volunteers and staff in local community development programs until my recent retirement. I am a life-long Democrat. I have voted in every single election local, and national since 1969, and, am proud to say, have never voted for a Republican for national office. I don't believe what I read in newspapers. I certainly, don't believe what little crap I see on TV. I READ. I DECIDE for MYSELF and do not allow others to do my thinking FOR ME. I do not ask even that you accept what I tell you at face value. I only ask that you give it a fair hearing and then investigate the facts and the issues and decide for YOURSELF, as I have. If you decide, after an impartial and honest investigation, on your own, that I am full of it, then your journey will have been most rewarding. If you decide that I am full of it, simply because you KNOW it to be so -- then, I REST MY CASE. Were it not for such ignorance there would be no network TV, Rupert Murdoch would still be keeping company with sheep and we would still be in Iraq. Oh WAIT !!! |
