Introduction	I'm Josh, not Pastor, not Rev., just Josh is what I prefer. I am a husband to Courtney, a Daddy to Chloe, a pet owner to Amos, Max, and Waldo (Wawo as Chloe says). I live in Southern Illinois, somewhere I never thought I would live long-term. I have left but somehow God saw fit to bring us back again. I am the Pastor of The View Church (theviewchurch.com) in Carbondale, IL, a regional church that serves all of SI. I have had the opportunity to be a part of God's replanting of the "old" First Baptist Church to a work that is at times challenging, but always rewarding and filled with excitement. I have a lot to say that I want to share, though you may not want to read. However, I decided writing a blog would give me a venue to write, even if it is only therapeutic for me. :)
Interests	reading, loving on people, music, games (not video), drives to random places, food
Favorite movies	Hmmmm...I don't watch many movies but I would have to say, I still love "As Good As it Gets".
Favorite music	Chris Tomlin, The View Praise Band, Jermaine Bollinger, Hillsong, Isreal, lots of Country and Easy Listening.
Favorite books	Anything by Brian Jones, Purpose Driven Life, The Message Bible, ESV Bible, and many, many, others I will reference at times.
