Introduction	... is the author of "A More Obedient Wife," an award-winning novel set in the 1790s and based on the lives and letters of two real women who were married to Justices of the Supreme Court. She is currently at work on a second novel set in the early 19th century and once again based on the experiences of a real woman who led an eventful but largely forgotten life.
