| Introduction | Design has been my life. From an early age, my interests and passions have revolved around art, design, architecture, anything tactile, textural and colorful. For a long time I limited myself to the business of design because I lacked the assurance about my design abilities. But years of submergence in the field have bolstered my confidence and allowed me to fully realize my potential. Now fully engaged in design, creating beautiful spaces for clients, and writing about design, architecture and residential remodeling, I feel as if I am offering the world a worthy and productive service, a fresh perspective and some clever ideas. My blog is intended for my clients, so that they can see and feel my design process. It is also intended for friends and family, so they can follow progress on the building of our new home. Finally, it is intended for the design community at large, so that we may exchange ideas and learn from one another about resources, problem solving and the next great design concept to explore. |
