| Introduction | I am 34 years old living with Cystic Fibrosis. When I was 18 months old I was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis, a hereditary disease that effects the lungs and digestive system. I have started evaluation for transplant and have decided to journal and share my journey with anyone who cares to follow along.* Having CF isn't easy and it seems to get a little harder all the time. I just pray for the mental and physical strength to make it through this process and to a life with new healthy lungs. *As of October 23, 2011 I have new lungs breathing inside of me. After 4.5 months on a ventilator in the hospital I received my miracle. I will continue to blog about my life and this new experience as long as life allows. |
