| Introduction | My wife & I live and boat on Lake Simcoe, in Ontario, Canada. Over the past 6 years, we have spent our summer holidays aboard our boat 'Boogaboo'. In 2006 we had the great opportunity to spend three weeks heading from Simcoe to Trenton, via the Trent-Severn Waterway, a round trip 500 miles, passing through 80 locks. What an adventure! That trip inspired me to seek a way to make a living that would allows us to live on board as much as possible (eventually full time) and make that living by focusing on boats and the boating lifestyle. To that end, I've started up a few web sites, including ** TheWaterway.ca **, presenting the Trent Severn Waterway from the perspective of a cruising boater.
