| Introduction | KumarsMLJourney is a space where I think out loud about data, predictive systems, and how organizations actually use analytics in the real world. I bring over 15 years of experience in the tech and operations industry, with the last 10 years focused on data science across descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. Over time, my focus has shifted from building models in isolation to understanding how they survive in production environments. Most problems I’ve seen are not purely technical. They sit between data, process, and people. Predictive outputs that are accurate but not usable. Datasets built on inconsistent assumptions. AI initiatives that move faster than the data foundation beneath them. Prototypes that scale before they are ready. This blog is my way of breaking those patterns down. I write in a reflective format, often starting with observation and ending with a question. The “I suppose…” is intentional. It’s less about giving answers and more about reframing how we think about familiar problems.
