| Introduction | Hi Guys im Marlene or Marlo for short depends who you are ;) . I work for Vodafone Ireland in Technology Network Operations in Dublin. It’s a great place to work with great facilities, people and opportunities, hence my blog. The Vodafone Ireland Foundation currently run a programme 'The Vodafone world of difference' and just as its named it allows people to make a difference whilst working for their chosen charity while also being paid by Vodafone during the process. They run a yearly programme for 4 lucky people or 30 3 month placements; it is open to everyone in the public or one Vodafone employee. I was unfortunate not to win the yearly programme but all things happen for a reason. Thankfully some fabulous charity's/people won and are doing great things. I never give up so I applied for the 3 month placement ET Voila! I won! Just before Christmas and all, the best Christmas present. The Vodafone Ireland Foundation will now support me financially and in other ways whilst I provide my services to my charity the Dublin SPCA for 3 months.
