| Interests | Newspapers and (serious) journalism: I've worked as a reporter, a city editor, a wire services editor, and a business editor and columnist. I've spent my career in newspapers and am angry and saddened to find myself jobless and newspapers slumping. This blog is my way to keep writing as I figure out where the heck journalism is going and how I fit in. You're welcome to come along for the ride. |
| Favorite Movies | "All the President's Men", "The Paper" I'm also a fanatical new fan of David Simon's HBO series "The Wire." I didn't have HBO when it was on television. Now that it's on DVD, I check it out, season by delicious season, at my local public library. |
