| Introduction | Coordinated by graduate students with the assistance of faculty, the Colloquium on Ethnicity and Diaspora provides an interdisciplinary intellectual space for faculty, students, and interested parties to interrogate issues in transnational history, comparative race and ethnic studies, critical race theory, community formations, and citizenship. CED showcases ethnic studies scholarship from the Northwestern community and from faculty and students at peer institutions. One of the purposes of CED is to foster a cross-discipline dialogue encouraging collaboration between various departments and programs.
