| Introduction | As of today, I am 35 years old. I am a mother of 3 by birth and 3 by marriage making a regular "Brady Bunch". And I am officially a 1st time "Step-Grandma" which I am loving.I started this as a way to keep in touch with the people I care about during one of the biggest, most exciting transitions of my life. I am having Gastric Bypass surgery on 6/28/2011 in Tijuana Mexico. I have been blessed with an incredible support system. These people have always accepted me for who I am...unfortunately, that me tipped the scale at somewhere around 410lbs. I could paint you a picture of my life as I grew to be 410lbs (it's OK if that is still shocking)But, I don't really want to dig in to the past. I will tell you the first doctor's visit I had related to my weight I was 11 years old....apparently, that stuck with me, I cannot ever remember being thin. But this Blog is here to share my new life that began the day I made the decision to go through with Gastric Bypass surgery. Welcome -- enjoy my experience, I will guarantee some tears and some laughs. |
