| Introduction | Carolyn Goplin Eilertson, born April 27, 1951 in Whitehall Wisconsin to Obert and Adeline Goplin. I grew up between Pigeon Falls and Osseo Wisconsin, attending Huskelhus and later Osseo High School. I belonged to the "Lower Church" in Pigeon Falls where I was baptized and confirmed. After high school, I attended Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa obtaining an AA degree in English in 1971. I completed my BA degree in English at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN in Dec. 1972. Eventually I began a career with the Social Security Administration in Springfield, Peoria, and Pekin IL and later Austin, MN. While in Austin I met my husband Kieth. We were married July 31, 1976 in Pigeon Falls and made our home and raised our family in Austin. |
