I attended a two week long summer nature camp twice; once when I was eight, and once when I was nine. While visiting state parks during my childhood, I earned at least four Junior Ranger/Junior Naturalist iron-on patches, as testament to dedication to understanding wildlife through walking along streams and touching captured snakes.
