Introduction	I am the youngest adult child of a narcissistic father and enabling mother. My elder sister is a typical 'golden child' (NCG). I spent my entire life wondering what was wrong with my parents and elder sibling. I was in my late 40s when a family incident which drew my husband into my dysfunctional family unit awakened me to the reality of the extent of the dysfunction within my family. I had always thought my family were odd, different to the families of other children at school although whilst growing up I did not understand why. My blog is my story and I hope to gain greater strength and understanding through writing my blog. I hope that the strength will enable me to maintain no contact with my NFOO. I have had no contact with my elder sister (NCG) for over 25 years.
