| Introduction | I am a 50 something wife, mom, grandma, ER nurse residing in sunny SW Florida. When I'm not working, I love to decorate our home to make it a warm and cozy place to live. My favorite places to shop are the local thrift stores where I always find what I want at a bargain price. I get a lot of my ideas from books, magazines and fellow bloggers. I've done every craft from A to Z but my passion is the magic I can perform with my sewing machine. I decided to start a blog so I can share my ideas just as others that have shared theirs. |

| Favorite movies | Scarey movies are my favorite, but I also like comedy, romance or drama once in a while. When I turn on the TV, I watch HGTV during the day and CSI or Law & Order at night. |
| Favorite music | I love all kinds of music, depends on the mood I'm in. My CD player holds mostly oldies but goodies rock, pop, R&B and country. I automatically turn on the Village People when I clean house. |
| Favorite books | I'm a magazine junkie! I buy almost every home decorating magazine in the grocery store. When I'm finished with them, I donate them to the hospital. |
