| Introduction | I have worked in the continuous improvement field in the social housing sector for several years. In my experience to really effect change within organisations, building good internal & external people networks is vital. There is a lot of value in getting the ‘Lay of the land’. I've worked in a variety of different roles, I started my career as a cinema projectionist, and gained a lot of experience of troubleshooting, there’s nothing quite like the pressure of a film that& flipped off the platter and a 100 people baying for blood in a cinema screen as a result. I’ve also worked in the public sector where I got the opportunity to work directly with corporate directors and heads of services to deliver and implement an equality and diversity portfolio, training and monitoring systems to help deliver better services. I also managed a call centre team within this sector. I’ve also recently been to University (MMU) and gained a 1st class honours degree in Information Management. My specialism’s include digital communication tools, clear English, customer knowledge, business process re-engineering, fundraising, bid writing and business case development to name a few things ;-) |
