Introduction	When I was a wee lad my mother and dad provided me with a small set of tools. So I built a little make believe airplane. When I was about fifty my wife Nancy encouraged me to begin building a real airplane from a kit. So I did. I'm married to Nancy whom I met when I was twenty-three. We met shortly after I lost my right leg due to trauma. Nancy was by side as I recovered and together we built an unwavering and indestructible foundation for our marriage. In those days Nancy was an elementary school teacher. I worked as an assistant to an orthopedic surgeon. Almost forty years later we have two grown children who are married to fine people. We also have six grandkids. Now that my latest RV-8 has been completed and sold I must attend more closely to my profession as an orthopedic technology field rep. There are other worlds in which to built and test airplanes! More later....
