| Introduction | Emory has lived in Hall County since 1964. He graduated from North Hall High School in 1975, where he lettered in four sports, all four years. For 25 years, he was a partner and owner of K & D Transportation in Oakwood, and is currently employed in sales at Robinson Harrison Poultry. |
| Interests | Emory is an avid outdoorsman; a passion that he shares with his father and family. He especially enjoys hunting and fishing. Some of his community work includes: coaching little league for many years, serving as a community coach for Johnson High School football for the 2004-05 season, helping organize the Bass Tournament for Challenged Child for three years, planning and volunteering at JAKES Day, as a committee member of the Foothills Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation at the Chicopee Agricultural Center for the past 10 years,co-organizing the Outdoorsman’s Feast at Blackshear Place Baptist Church for last 4 years, serving on the Board of Directors at the Innsbruck Golf Club and Community in Helen, Georgia, committee member involved with the planning and volunteering of the yearly banquet for the Foothills Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation in Hall County, former Trustee at Maranatha Baptist Church, founding member of the Lanier Bass Busters Bass Club, served on Gov. Sonny Perdue's GOFISH Lake Lanier Committee at Laurel Park, supporter of State and National Parks, member of Blackshear Place Baptist Church, and Ralph Mills Sunday School Class. |
