| Introduction | This blog started out as a way for me to keep track of what I was reading.But it is becoming more fluid and I want to post more than that here.Hence the recipes.So enjoy the recipes or the book reviews or just the rambling.Now about me-I am a mom of three girls who keep us busy all the time.I love to spend time with my family cooking, playing, whatever.I have been married to my husband,who is a minister for 17 years. I want my children to learn the values of the past as in-hard work,saving something to pass on to others and using what we have been given wisely.All three of our girls enjoy planting and watering and putting up the food we are able to grow.I want them to have skills for the hard times they will face.So we sew a little and cook a lot and take what we cook to others so my kids will appreciate helping those in need. I know that sounds like a big helping of Mary Poppins but hey,what can I say?Some days they devise ways to kill each other and put me in a home.So it balances out.I try for the middle of the road most of the time and pray a LOT! |
