| Introduction | In January of 2006, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease- Stage II B. Over the course of January, I experienced all the characteristics of Hodgkin's- chills, fevers, night sweats, and loss of appetite. Since that time, I have been through a battery of tests and surgeries. I am on course to receive at least 4 cycles of chemotherapy with the possibility of further chemotherapy and/or radiation. When this process began, I decided to be open about my situation. It is my hope to bring awareness to Hodgkin's Disease as well as other cancers. Likewise, I hope that others can use my situation as motivation and inspiration when confronting situations such as mine in life. |
