Tracheal Stenosis Sucks

Introduction I have Subglottic Tracheal Stenosis, and tracheomalacia. After 14 years of fighting TS, I have been told that my trachea is completely necrosed and my only hope for a long term existence is a tissue engineered tracheal transplant. Except thus far, the Department of Health in London have not approved this as a procedure, so although they can do it, they're not allowed. Very annoying. I also suffer from the painful and debilitating spinal conditions lumbar spondylosis, facet hypertrophy and sacroiliitis. And the absolute icing on the cake is that I have Bipolar Affective Disorder type 1. Which makes me crazy some days, hahaha. I love music, my baby cats, and crochet. So if anyone wants a handmade crochet hat for the winter, I am open to offers!! hehehe I also enjoy ballet, classical music, heavy rock, art and theatre, but I try and keep that side of me quiet. People don't like it if you come across as too intellectual. Not where I live, anyway. I really hope you enjoy reading my adventures. I'm just blithering about the joys of chronic illness really, but other things creep in too. Take care, peace to all!!
