| Introduction | I write about my home state, Maine. I wish I had a nickel for every person who has told me, "I've always wanted to visit Maine." It's not freaking Alaska, folks, Portland is only 2 hours North of Boston on the DownEaster (Amtrak). We even have TWO international airports (not counting Presque Isle, which only has flights to/from Canada). |
