| Introduction | Hi, I’m Omar—a gay man in my 40s, an architect, and a traveler at heart. Two years ago, I left my day job to pursue a startup featured on CNN Philippines’ The Final Pitch. What began as a way to gain control of my time and finances soon turned into something more—building a life centered around travel. I started with Airbnb Experiences in Manila, eventually creating eight unique tours, and was later featured in Travel Now Magazine. Today, I’m expanding into curated weekend road trips beyond the city through my platform: www.noplacelikemanila.com So far, I’ve explored 49 of the Philippines’ 81 provinces, along with much of Southeast Asia and Australia.
