IntroductionI am the 39 year old mom to 4 sensational daughters, aged 13,11,9, and 7. I am a Christian but don't really like to admit it. I am involved in 12-step groups and feel that I am on a path to spiritual, mental, emotional, and physchological health. The Random Question: Your people want to make a statue in your honor. What will it be made out of, and what will it commemorate?
Interestsrunning, swimming, cycling, pilates, reading, playing pinochle, keeping up on my new hobby of ballet....and continuing on in the art of mosiac...as well as love thrift shopping, antiquing, and finding treasures on peoples front lawns or in more serious cases, their garbage cans...and turning them into something beautiful. i am a self-taught painter/refinisher and dont quite know if i am even that good, harharhar....this year my endeavor was to find 4 desks and refinish and personalize them for my 4 daughters. I have one left to go. It was way too much fun. I also really enjoy just talking to people. studying new things. listening. investigating. pondering. and, causing trouble.
Favorite moviesThe Upside of Anger, Can't Buy me Love, We Are The Mulraney's, Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion, Cinderella Man, and more as I think of them.
Favorite musicMostly my heart is with the music of the 70's and 80's....though I must report that I successfully fell out of love with Duran Duran's foxy bass player, John Taylor approximately 15 years ago. I account that most probalby to my marriage, but then again, there is a good chance my heart met death wehn he began dating Helena Christiansen, whom I was ferverously jealous over. I also like classical and celtic music. i love the nostalgic aspect music provides for me.
Favorite booksI love self-help books and physchology books, too. Though I keep promising my daughter I will read the Twilight so I have some sort of clue as to its storyline when I take her to the movies to see it. I read a lot of books concerning recovery topics, addictions, and toxic shame and dysfunctional family systems. i also read the bible but not so much lately as i had to fast from it indefinitely as i became tainted as to its true revelation, under the rule of toxic religion.
