| Introduction | Hi all :) I live in Edinburgh. I have 3 boisterous boys, and a gorgeous little girl who I lost to SIDS, and baby No5 (a surprise) is on the way!!! I am currently working towards an honours degree in English Literature, maybe masters after, defo teaching qualification. Doing it part time though to keep up with all my kiddies, so taking me a while... |
| Interests | Coffee!!!!! :) I love reading books and writing poetry and spending family time with my kids |
| Favorite movies | Pirates of The Carribean (all of them..Captain Jack - Yum!!!), Slumdog Millionaire, Legally blonde/Dirty Dancing (gotta have a chick flick in there!) And..anything with Jack Black (My hero) Adam Sandler (Funny Guy) or Nicholas Cage (Fabby Actor)...Oh and gotta have a bit of Vin diesel in there too just for the eye candy factor :) |
| Favorite music | Aargh these questions are always so hard, its easier to ask me what I dont like - most country music and heavy metal lol, pretty much love everything else from classical to opera to soul to reggae to rap to hiphop to dance etc..following me so far? |
| Favorite books | Again far too many to mention in a tiny little box. One of my favourite books is The Alchemist, love the simplicity and beauty of Paulo Coelho. Love all the Classics..well the ones i have read so far. Love philosophical works and stuff that makes you think or can sink your teeth into from philosophy to the bible to Milton. Love Shakespeare. Love children's books from The Hungry Caterpillar to The Gruffalo to Harry Potter..count me in!! Favourites of mine and my kids. Its a wonderful experience to be able to share my love of books with my children, who are all too willing to listen to a bedtime story or 5 a night :) I also have a deep interest in all kinds of mythology from Ancient Greek and Roman stuff to Celtic and Hindu tales, whatever far sprung corner of the world they come from or whatever era..if its myth or fable i'll have it all. Last but by no means least I have a huge love affair going on with poetry, love love love it. |
Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?
Yep. its called random question for a reason...I can honestly say I have never philosophised over the evolution of my cutlery...
