| Introduction | I am M's 姐姐(big sister in chinese) and M is my 妹妹(little sister in chinese). I have always wanted a little sister. I started praying to adopt a baby sister from China. On October 2004 my parents started the process through AWAA (without telling me! They wanted it to be a surprise). On December 19, 2004 they gave me a Shaoey & Dot Book with an AWAA t-shirt. We got our dossier all together and were DTC 6/10/05. Our dossier was logged into the CCAA system on 6/23/06. We received our call from Kim (our coordinator) on 6/26/06. It was a rainy day! What a day I will remember! We traveled 8/31-9/16/06. "Gotcha Day" was 9/4/06, a day I will never forget! M has blossomed so much after we have come home! |
