if i was trapped in a well with a goat and a slinky, i'd wait for the goat to eat the slinky. somewhere in the digestive process, the slinky would become more spring-like. when the goat pooped, the slinky would act like a spring. i would be sure to be on the goat when he pooped so we'd both be propelled to safety. the end.
