| Favorite movies | it all begins with the written word for me. G.W.T.W., of course <smile>. Pretty Woman, Memoirs of a Geisha, Auntie Mame, Cinema Paradiso, The Notebook, Good Night and Good Luck, Saving Private Ryan, Chicago, Erin Brockovich, Terms of Endearment, Love Actually, The Holiday, Casablanca, anything with Cary Grant, Burt Lancaster, Irene Dunn, Ingrid Bergman, Dances With Wolves, The Last Samurai, The Insider, Something's Got To Give, Hitchcock, The Day The Earth Stood Still, etc., this list could go on and on, much like me! |
| Favorite music | Smooth Jazz, classic rock, Elvis, show tunes, and the standards, i.e., The Nearness of You, etc. Harold Arlen, Richard Rogers, Lorenz Hart, Gershwin and of course, Cole Porter, to name but a few. Music, for me, has to have a story with lyrics and a melody that you can immediately hum. |
| Favorite books | "You and Me, Babe - Chuck Barris" - a classic love story. Biography, Politics, John Grisham, History, Nicholas Sparks, Dr. Wayne Dyer, etc. Barnes & Noble is a great friend and another home. |
