| Introduction | Hello, my name is Ashley J. And I am a funny neurotic Mommy. I am a stay at home mom to two awesome boys Andrew and Nick. Andrew's my oldest at 4. He is sweet, funny, ditsy, artsy, curious, the list goes on and on. He also was diagnosed as YCDD (and for those who don't know that's Young Child w/ Developmental Delay). He also has had several other strange out there diagnoses (Duane's Syndrome of the Eye, Amylopia, ITP). The family's motto is it is out there and atypical, Andrew will have it. Cannot even begin to describe how much this kid has taught me. Most importantly that you are never limited by a label and always to appreciate the little victories! My youngest Nick is 2 almost 3. He is my rockingly precocious little cuss. He is insanely coordinated for a kid his age. Truly an old soul this one, I like to say he is 2 going on 40. I am married to a really cool guy Rick. He also puts up with my histronics and is a perfect foil to me. We make each other laugh and sometimes you just need a good laugh! Anyhoo, I am starting to write this blog as an online diary for my random thoughts and to save my FB friends from reading insanely long posts. |
