Introduction	Tom Bingle (Binks) and Jim King (Doc) met over a half-century ago as freshmen at the University of Notre Dame. After graduation, they decided to go on a two-month tour of Europe--a trip that turned into several years of travel across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. In this blog, they re-live their adventure, and reflect on it with the wisdom (hopefully) of age. After Overlanding, Tom continued following his passion of "making the world a smaller place" through a long career as a Travel Director and Executive. He says that by following his passion, he never worked a day in his life. An Ohio native, Tom lives in Cambridge, MA. Jim pursued his dream of becoming a writer.
