| Introduction | An American by choice, Dennis Aytekin of Huntington Beach was born in Ankara, Turkey. He lived in Germany for 14 years, where he received MS degree in mechanical engineering. He founded PortfolioLab Inc., a software development company that serves chambers of commerce, sister cities, neighborhood and ethnic community non-profit organizations across the US, reducing administrative and development costs while improving overall performance of public benefit organizations. Prior to founding PortfolioLab, he was the VP of engineering with several U.S. and German companies. He is a seasoned executive with experience in automation, systems design, and manufacturing. Aytekin lives by the philosophy of giving back to the community in which he lives. “Working with public benefit organizations has been very satisfying for me,” says Aytekin. “When I look at how far we have come in the past years, I am very proud of what we've achieved together.” Through civic participation, professional achievement and responsible citizenship, Dennis continues to demonstrate his commitment to his new home country and to the common civic values that unite us as Americans. |
