| Introduction | I am a wife, mother, and grandmother. I like to knit, sew and garden, though I do not knit or sew very much these days. That is something I hope to change in the very near future. At one time I was a homeschool mom, and now my kids are all grown and out of school. I am still super busy with home and family, and church. I am a "late bloomer" and have been my whole life. Always lagging behind everyone else - learning things the hard way, and much later than most. Thus, "Late Bloomer" and "Pray First." It has taken me a very long time to begin to understand that God is wanting me to come to Him for everything, and daily. There is so much in His Word, and in the time spent talking to Him. So this blog is about growing in Him daily, and how that is lived out. Praying about everything and journaling it here - the prayers, the answers, the joys and angsts in between! The waiting, OH! The waiting! The encouragement that comes while we wait. He is God, and I am not. I look to Him. Psalm 121:1,2 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. |
