Outwardly, I lived an amazingly charmed life, but what the world saw was not real, it was a beautiful illusion fabricated to conceal the horrible truth. Tragically, no one ever knew the unspeakable things that happened to me. Infused with the intimate details of my provocative teen life, my voyage through adolescence teaches some hard lessons in self-worth, love, sex, alcohol abuse and suicidal thoughts. My memoir proves that nothing is written in stone, nothing is unchangeable and nothing can smother the will to change one's path...I continue to grow and document my current struggles through poems and short stories. |
