| Introduction | An award winning Journalist and documentary filmmaker, Shashidhar was the head of a regional infotainment TV channel - ETV(MP/CHHATTISGARH)-part of India's largest network of regional channels ;prior to which he was the Features Editor of a leading English daily- Hindustan Times -at Bhopal. Over 500 of his articles have appeared in all the leading publications of India –in English and Hindi. Besides, Shashidhar has produced documentaries & shortfilms across genres and TV software (TV Series/ news based programmes )- for Doordarshan ( India's National broadcaster ), ETV and others .Till date ,he has produced 11 documentaries& 2 shortfilms Furthermore, he has written a book of short stories and has finished writing his debut novel.After graduating in Mathematics from St. Stephen’s college Delhi, Shashidhar went on to do a Master’s in Philosophy ,and a PG Diploma in Journalism & Mass Communication . Later he did the the Film Appreciation Course from FTTI, Pune.Widely traveled across India and the globe, Shashidhar has launched an E- media platform in central India. |
