Introduction	Kim Frusciante is a fourth year educator, originally from Vancouver, Washington. She has taught at an urban high school in Dallas, Texas, in the DISD system. Because of Kim's lucky decision to graduate a year early from Tulane University in 2005, she narrowly escaped Hurricane Katrina. She is now returning to New Orleans to be a part of the recovery efforts and experience the educational changes in post-Katrina New Orleans.
