| Introduction | As a writer, I try to combine various genres into short stories informed by current events and the philosophies of surrealism and post-modernisn. Much of my work is based on the theme of new technologies and how they affect us psychologically and socially, such as the creation of virtual worlds that can blur the line between fantasy and reality. Although my stories contain serious themes, I always try to include a bit of wit and satire in the mix.My current blogs on Electric Fire are very short stories based upon recent events in the news. I hope to write each story within a week or two of each item, since creating an immediate response is important to this project. I hope to have my longer work published soon and I will in form my readers of where they can be found. |
